Climate Action Network (CAN) Tanzania convened a strategic stakeholders’ meeting at Morogoro Hotel. The gathering brought together key actors in the climate justice movement, including civil society organizations, community representatives, technical experts, NGOs, Notably, the meeting was attended by representatives from the Vice President’s Office (VPO), including Dr. Nyashiru, the Ministry of Health, represented by Mr. Budodi, the Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA); and academia, including Dr. Jovin from the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS).

The meeting aimed at aligning stakeholders’ inputs with the ongoing national process of developing Tanzania’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) 3.0 and strengthening the collective voice of non-state actors in shaping climate policy and action
