Hilda is a Lawyer and Human rights activists with fifteen (15+) years’ experience in Tanzania and she possesses Masters Degree of Global Health Laws (LL.M in Global Health Laws) as her second degree from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington District of Columbia(DC) USA in 2013. Hilda acquired her first degree of Bachelor of Law from University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
She worked for several local and International organizations including; Tanzania Women Lawyers Association (TAWLA), FiDA Kenya, Tanzania Women Cross Party Platform (T-WCP), Women Global Network for Reproductive Rights Africa (WGNRR) and Women Fund Trust Tanzania (WFT). Currently, she is working as Executive Director of Prosperous Health Live Initiative (PHLI) Organization and as a National Coordinator of the Women Human Rights Defenders Tanzania a women’s rights movement. The viability of the interventions relies on her skills to proper design and engagement of the human rights actors, which in turn depends on a thorough understanding of the meaningful of Protection of Human Women’s Rights, Gender equality and stakeholders who could be engaged to support Women Human Rights Defenders of Tanzania.
